HAPPY BIRTHDAY Annemarie!

Yesterday my internet went down. Yesterday my left hand wouldn’t work. The sun shone brightly, and I looked out the window longingly, and as busy as I was pouring through online nerd hacks for my internet issue,  I could not take my eyes from the way the light fell on the houses outside the window. I started the day a little sad of eye;  a sadness that became forgotten when the light hit it. I knew something was special about this day but couldn’t put my finger on it… sigh… I am VERY sorry this birthday greeting is a day late, and also sorry that I am sooo internet dependent!!

I cherish my friends especially the ones that remember the days when we had one telephone per family and paper calendars on the wall. Memories become more important every year. I hope that you are able to take the time to do something inspiring, creative, and rejuvenating today, but I’m sure just being outside in Barbados will take care of that. Enjoy the sun and the completion of another trip around it.
